Panagiotis Kotsios
Panagiotis Kotsios studied Economics and Business Policy at the University of Portsmouth, UK. He received his PhD with honours from the Department of International and European Studies, University of Macedonia, Greece (2010). He has been working as a freelance economist since 2006, providing services to public organizations and SMEs. He is part of the team that received the European Enterprise Promotion Award 2023 for the project "Resilience and Rescue Skills for SMEs". He teaches at the International Hellenic University and the Hellenic Open University.

The aim of this book is to introduce small and "big" students with a fast and practical method for executing multiplications.
This method is named Method of Halves, as it is based on dividing numbers in half and multiplying them with the corresponding number of tens. This method can be useful for performing fast mental calculations.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The first edition of the book was published in June 2013. The book was widely recognized by the public and the academic community, as it was immediately used as a recommended textbook in various universities of Greece.
In June 2015, the second edition of the book was published. This edition included all the changes in the Greek economic environment and in the procedures of starting, licensing and operating a business. It also included more business scenarios, an appendix for business accounting and update of all the information provided in the book's chapters.
The 3rd edition was published in 2019. The number of university departments using the book has risen to 11.
Barriers to entry in industrial competition
In this book, after presenting the evolution of entry barriers theory, a total of 15 structural and 10 strategic barriers are analysed and evaluated, explaining the role and impact of each one. Finally, it analyses the position of European competition law on the subject.
